Brand story

Name
The inspiration for creating the brand came from the mythological connection of neighboring constellations in the sky: Cassiopeia, Perseus, and Andromeda.

According to Greek mythology, Cassiopeia was a beautiful queen of Ethiopia and the mother of Andromeda. Due to envy of Cassiopeia’s beauty, the Nereids convinced Poseidon to take revenge on the kingdom. The god of the sea then sent Cetus, a sea monster that ravaged the land. The only way to save the kingdom was to offer Andromeda to Cetus. However, the princess was rescued by Perseus, who killed the monster, thus earning the right to marry Andromeda.

The brand name is therefore composed of abbreviations of these three constellations: Cassiopeia (CAS), Perseus (PER), and Andromeda (AND). I wanted the brand to evoke a sense of mystery, much like fine wine, and to be associated with a Mediterranean ambiance.

Design
Packaging is one of the key tools for achieving business and marketing goals. A well-designed product package plays a crucial role in today’s world, often influencing customer choices. Unique design features tailored to the brand help create the right message. In the world of wine—where product selection is vast—a good design plays a significant role in helping a brand stand out from other wines.

Research shows that minimalism, regardless of emerging trends, is always valued. The principle of „less is more” applies to the number of colors used, font types, and the application of graphics.

Bottle
The main element of the bottle is an elegant black label featuring a section of the starry sky, a specific constellation, and its name. The dots representing stars are embossed on the label and then painted in a specific color. This detail is meant to emphasize the uniqueness of the product. The entire design is simple and clear. The minimalistic form and modern look reflect the exclusive nature of the wine. My goal was to design a product in the premium segment.

Packaging
An additional element is the packaging design. The graphics on the cardboard box mirror those on the bottle. The front of the packaging features the brand name and constellation abbreviation. The left side displays the brand name CASPERAND, while the right side shows the full name of the constellation. The back contains information from the producer.
